Why do I get a warning “A data breach on a site or app exposed your password” in Chrome?
When you type your credentials into a website, Chrome will now warn you if your user name and password have been compromised in a data breach on another site or app. It will suggest that you change the credntials everywhere they were used.
This does not mean your municipal account has been breached. This means that somewhere that you use the same email address and password was breached and Chrome is warning that you should change your passwords.
